Southern Casual Summer

I traded in my Norts and a t-shirt yesterday for this casual preppy look. I'm a huge fan of looks like this because they're easy and comfortable, but they don't sacrifice style, and I'm all about looking good and feeling good, all at once. I've especially been loving this shirt which I picked up from a local thrift shop. The embroidery of the dog is so cute, and it's such a great color! Not to mention, my Sperry Angelfish shoes, which are so comfortable for walking around in. Overall, this outfit was perfect for spending the afternoon in Williamsburg with my cousins.

Simply Put Together

I love dresses. I think my blog makes that pretty obvious, but it still deserves to be stated. This outfit post is the perfect example of how my infatuation began. Dresses are simple. All I did was throw on a good pair of shoes and add a few accessories, and bam! an outfit. That's what makes this dress a summer staple for me (and it's on sale!). It's so easy to wear and the trapeze style makes it perfect for braving the summer heat. 

I've also been wearing my Jack Roger's sandals to death, as well as my new favorite sunglasses from J.Crew Factory. All of them are making it possible for me to look put together rather simply.
